    Then in May 2015, a total of seven FIFA officials were arrested in dawn raids at a hotel in Zurich. They were later charged by United States authorities along with two other FIFA officials and five corporate executives over allegations of racketeering, wire fraud and money laundering conspiracies over the span of 24 years. The Swiss authorities raided FIFA headquarters, gathering data and documents for their separate investigation about the allegations of criminal misconduct and money laundering in connection with the allocation of the 2018 and 2022 World Cup bids. Along with this, a bomb threat is made at FIFA’s congress in Zurich, while two demonstrators were ejected.
    Blatter is re-elected as FIFA president for a fifth term after his opposition, Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein, withdrew during a second round of voting. Football Association vice-chairman David Gill rejected a place on FIFA’s executive committee under Blatter.
    Finally, on June 2, 2015, a letter was seen by Press Association Sport revealing that the South African Football Association asked FIFA secretary general, Jerome Valcke, to authorize a ten million dollar payment to Warner to support football in the Caribbean.
