    Wearable Technology
Wearable Technology are smart devices that can be worn on body as an accessory and unsupported by hands. Wearable technology grows appears prominently in consumer electronics with the popularity of the smartwatches and activity trackers. Apart from this it is also used for navigation systems, advanced textiles and healthcare and often used for tracking a user’s vital signs of data related to health and fitness and biofeedback indicating emotions. These wearable technologies perform same computing tasks as mobile phones and laptops It also provides sensory and scanning features which is typically not seen in mobiles and laptops. Also. It is more compatible than handheld devices. One of the major feature of wearable technology is it connect with internet which enables data to be transfer from one devices to another.

Generally, wearable technology will have some form of communications capability and will allow the wearer access to information in real time. Data-input capabilities are also a feature of such devices, as is local storage. Examples of wearable devices include Apple watches, revolutionary google glasses, contact lenses, e-textiles and smart fabrics, jewelry such as rings, bracelets, and hearing aid-like devices that are designed to look like earrings. Information accessing on wearable technology is very easy in term of speed and convenience of access
“Dick Tracy, a comic book hero, was shown communicating via a two-way wrist radio in the 1930s and The Jetsons, an animated television show, featured other wearable technologies in the 1960s. The functions being portrayed grew in media and fiction, but the technology to produce a wearable device took much longer to develop. ” technology was used in the field of military technology and field of healthcare also but now also used in the consumer market. The goal of this technology in each field will be incorporate functional and portable device. Wearable technology has great effect in the field of health but now also effecting the fields of gaming and entertainment. As the usage of wearable technology increases in many fields but it will also affect the sociological and cultural filed. Wearable technology has more realistic environment with the combination of augmented reality This consideration for both technology and aesthetics is already evident in devices such as Google Glass, which has a very sleek, lightweight, unobtrusive design.

Already, the current hand-held devices available to consumers, such as Smart Phones, iPods and tablets, have changed the technological and social landscapes on a global scale, such that, walking out in public and seeing an individual engaging with a hand-held device is commonplace. With that in mind, developers and analysts predict that wearable technology will very quickly change the technological and cultural landscapes once again and may even change the nature of mobile phones and other hand-held devices entirely.

“In the broadest sense, wearable technology describes “many different forms of body mounted technology, including wearable computers, smart clothing, and functional clothing” (Dunne, 2004) . The wearable technology market is forecasted to be worth 12.6 billion dollars by 2018 (Statista, 2015) , representing a significant opportunity for businesses involved in markets such as healthcare, sports, communication and entertainment. Specifically within the sports market, media attention has brought consumer wearable devices to the forefront, encouraging the population to analyze their health and fitness and get involved in the ‘wearable revolution’. The projected wearable device market value from 2010 to 2018 is shown in Figure 1.”
    Current Applications
    Healthcare Applications
To the doctors: Smart watches and health bands help in capturing real time data of patients which help in providing better treatment to also help in changing critical information that how patients respond in critical surgeries. Google glass also used to read X-rays and reports
To the Patients: -Smart watches also help patients to keep an eye on their health and give power to monitor important things like sugar levels, blood pressure and heart beat rates.
    Constructions Industry applications: –
Smart glasses capable of providing live-feed video
Smart Watches monitor worker health level
Footwear used to detect temperature, GPS worker positioning.

Helmet Based temperature sensors designed to protect the employee from heat stroke
    Real life applications: –
Wearable devices such as apple watch stay in touch with body. It has limited CPU power, connectivity and battery is best option as compare to smart phones.

Google glass store customer data and insights into user interaction
Medical industry uses wearable devices to collect clinical data
Tourism and hospitality industry use to locate location-based tracking of places and contactless access
In financial field, bank provide opportunity to explore the wearable application which includes balance checking and for other money transactions
    4.Education field: –
Distance learning via glass instead of computers and language learning combined with google translator. Remote class for students at home, sick enough not to attend school but well enough to participate remotely. Teachers take attendance using facial recognition
    Future Applications
Public and personal safety: -Biosensors will be integrated in the wearable devices which monitor the brain will provide benefit to the society. If anyone commit crime they will directly warn the authorities. Moreover, smart glasses will help in monitor the traffic and warn the driver if they will not concentrate on their driving.

Business: -In the future no physical will be needed. They will arrange meeting in room formatted by augmented reality and decision will be recorded. Also, virtual assistant will be used to remind the meeting and other necessary information
Research: -Researchers will gather real life data via eye tracking software built in a smart glass. GPS based devices will help in outdoor ads allocations and store area collections.

Sales: -Retailers use a system where customer upload shopping list to the smart glasses and customer will finish their as fast as possible through the indoor navigations.

Tourism:-Devices integrated with augmented reality enable people to visit tourist destination virtually. In the future tourist’s agencies will show the hotels to the tourist in virtually 3D format.

People with impairments: – Wearable devices give many benefits to the people with impairments. Smart glasses help blind people to travel indoor and outdoor. For the people with hearing impairments smart glasses transform the voice into text format.

Health: – Wearable devices will improve the medical field in a big way. In the future some Wearable devices will be integrated in the patient’s body so that in case of emergency devices may treatment to the patients.

Entertainment: – Oculus rift which is virtual reality handsets when user wear this oculus he/she can the virtual environment as a real view. New motion sensing input devices will replace the keyboard and mouse.

    Disadvantages: –
1.Some wearable devices measures data inaccurately. Like the devices which is used for measuring heart rate sometimes does not read the correct reading, so this is dangerous for the patients’ health.
    2. Google glass wearable devices is sensitive device because its glass is not bullet proof.

    3. Google glass has a privacy theft its video camera can be used by anyone for capturing confidential information

As well as privacy issues in relation to the general public, personal data about the wearer of such devices gives rise to other data protection issues. For example, certain health and fitness gadgets can have GPS location functionality and can capture a huge amount of data over time about a person’s location, activity and even health. This personal data may then be uploaded into the cloud and analysed by the technology provider. In the EU, this is fine provided that the technology provider is being transparent about how the data is being used, shared and transferred, the wearer has given informed consent about what is being done with their data, and the provider has put in place adequate security measures to protect it. Whether this happens in practice is another matter.

It’s important to remember that, although wearable technology may very well be the ‘Next Big Thing’, this outcome is by no means certain. Some of the privacy issues outlined above are, therefore, theoretical, and may remain that way if this category does not become as popular as many predict. As the technology becomes more prevalent in the near-term, however, social norms are likely to help regulate the use of certain wearable technology such as smart glasses until the (notoriously slow) law catches up. For example, ‘Google Glass etiquette’ is currently a hotly debated topic in digital media. The intensity of this debate underlines the importance of the privacy issues – theoretical or real – raised by this and other wearable technology.
The evolution and increased use of wearable gadgets like smart watches, contact lenses, spectacles, caps, jewelry and trackers among others will trigger the development of highly-sophisticated mobile apps. Therefore, mobile apps development company Florida must utilize unique app development features as per client or industry specifications.

In conclusion, wearable technologies have evolved gradually in parallel with technological advancements such as electronic chips, GPS systems, Wi-Fi systems, the internet, computers, and sensors. The major applications of the wearable technologies are in the health industry, textile industry and the consumer electronics industry. Today, the diffusion of the wearable technologies is just at the early adopter stage both for the society and companies. However, in the near future the evolution of wearable technologies, especially smart glasses and smart watches, will almost be completed their evolutions and these technological devices will be adopted by the societies and companies. The objective of the study is to point out how wearable technologies will be a milestone both for daily life of people and the way of doing businesses of the companies in the future. In this paper, it is proposed that wearable technologies will ease the life for the people with impairments; enable companies to interact with the other business people easier, to conduct market research more effectively, to apply sales and service strategies more efficiently; enable policemen, firemen, military members to provide public and personal safety; enhance the virtual reality in games, and enable the doctors to monitor the health indicators of the people continuously. To sum up, the future will be safer, easier, healthier, quicker, and more entertaining with the wearable technologies…
