    Who in the classes turns to David or some sort of pharmaceutical when they have headache or are in pain? -Who in the class has ever tried listens to music when they have a headache or are in pain? Have you ever heard of the saying that music is medicine? Well, today I am here to tell you why musical therapy has been proven to be more beneficial then using pharmaceuticals, and how this ancient art form is rapidly developing into a new medicinal science.

    I want to begin by giving you a history of how music was used to heal in ancient cultures, and how it is used today in modern times. It has the potential to benefit you psychologically and physically without incurring most of the damages associated with chemical stimulants. Sound healing is a rich tradition that dates back thousands of years. The aboriginal people of Australia are the first known culture to heal with sound. The Yiddish is the most ancient of all sound healing instruments. It was used for at least 40,000 years as a healing tool to mend broken bones, muscle tears, and illnesses of every kind.

In sound healing resonance principles are employed to re-harmonize cells that have been imprinted with disruptive frequencies.

    Music can guide the body into slower, deeper breathing patterns and can induce a calming effect, as heart rate and blood pressure are responsive to the types of music you listen to. Music accomplishes all of this without releasing harmful toxins into your body that affect your brain. Music can change your mood positively or negatively depending on the type of music you listen to, again, all of which can be done without drugs. It simultaneously triggers certain chemical activities that promote healing. So without he use of chemical stimulants, and Just by simply listening to music, your body begins to heal naturally from any stress or pain.

    Not only does music benefit you psychologically, but it is also benefits you physically. Music helps improve your memory. Research suggests that the silence in between two musical notes can trigger neurons and brain cells, which are required for sharp memory. Music with stronger beats causes brain waves to resonate in such a way that it synchronizes with the music. This brings about higher levels of alertness and concentration. On the other hand it has been proven that Pharmaceuticals will tot improve memory, and excessive use will actually begin to deteriorate your memory.

    The history of medical resonance therapy is ancient; it begins at a time when art, religion and medical still formed a unity. Music has helped patients move even when top shelf medicine could not. It has cured people who have been unresponsive.
